Cheesy Pizza Rolls

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 2¼ tsp instant yeast

• 1 tbsp sugar

• ½ tsp salt

• ¾ cup warm water

• 2 tbsp olive oil

 

Filling

• ½ cup pizza sauce

• 1½ cups mozzarella cheese, grated

• ½ cup pepperoni or cooked sausage, chopped (optional)

• ½ tsp oregano

• ½ tsp mixed herbs

 

For Brushing

• 2 tbsp melted butter

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp chopped parsley

 

Method

1. Mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, then knead until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.

2. Roll the dough into a rectangle.

3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.

4. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni or sausage (if using), oregano, and mixed herbs.

5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 10–12 slices.

6. Arrange the rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise for 20–30 minutes.

7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.

8. Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley, then brush over the warm rolls.
